NRS483.936. Licensing and permitting of nonresidents. [Effective July 8, 2014.]

  •   A person who is a resident of a foreign jurisdiction which the Federal Highway Administrator has determined does not test drivers and issue commercial drivers’ licenses in accordance with federal standards or who is a resident of a state while that state is prohibited from issuing commercial drivers’ licenses pursuant to 49 C.F.R. § 384.405 and who wishes to be issued a nonresident commercial driver’s license or nonresident commercial learner’s permit by this State must:

          1.  Apply to the Department for a nonresident commercial driver’s license or nonresident commercial learner’s permit; and

          2.  Comply with all other requirements contained in the regulations adopted by the Department pursuant to NRS 483.908.
