  •   Any time before the fifth Sunday preceding an election, a person who because of illness, disability or for other good cause shown requires assistance to complete an application to register to vote may request the county clerk in writing or by telephone to register the person at the person’s residence. Upon request, the county clerk shall direct the appropriate field registrar to go to the home of such a person to register the person to vote.
