NRS475.105. Theft of device to prevent, control, extinguish or give warning of fire; penalties.

  •   A person who steals a device intended for use in preventing, controlling, extinguishing or giving warning of a fire:

          1.  If the device has a value of less than $650, is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.

          2.  If the device has a value of $650 or more, is guilty of grand larceny and shall be punished as provided in NRS 205.222.
